It was getting close to the end of the year and we knew we needed to take some time or 'vacation days' as we like to call them so they didn't go to waste! We wanted to relax more than travel so Nick had the idea to go to Robbers Cave State Park - neither of us had been there. We decided we would take Buster and take a little family get-a-way for the day!
No more did we get there Buster was pulling Nick's hand off basically because he saw all this 'playground' for him to wander around. This is his first big place like this and he jumped up on rocks down from rocks like no ones business. Sniffing everything! 
By the end of the hour long trail and rock walking poor Buster was pooped and ready to head to the car!! SEE BELOW - we took a small break in a cool spot and he just plopped himself down and wanted to take a nap! 
The state park was beautiful - lots of pretty trees with all the fall colors, even some deer wandering around. There are more pictures so as soon as I can figure out how to get a slide show I will get them up for all to see!
Next stop - COLORADO!!!
